Conclusion
Thank you for viewing this online exhibition. I hope that it helps someone with their healing journey and others to perhaps understand that dealing with childhood sexual abuse is a very long, hard process. I’m lucky – some victims are never able to face what happened and therefore never get a chance to even partially heal (not to imply that a survivor can totally heal – I don’t think that’s possible). As more attention has been focused on this very taboo subject, I hope that more good people have the courage to overcome their own revulsion, understand the scope of this problem and lend a hand to help. Let us pray for the day when no more children need be harmed.
“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them.” (Dalai Lama)
“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” (Buddha)
